The Journey
MegaDuel is a years-in-the-making passion project founded by South Jersey locals Evan and Steve. Along the way, our two captains recruited crewmates Alex and Austin to help bring the game to life. In 2023, these four Space Pirates set out on their voyage. Now, we’re thrilled to bring our board game to you. Ready to set sail?
The Crew
Steve
Meet Steve, MegaDuel co-founder and design lead. Steve captains all of the visual elements of the game—from designing the game board and cards to running the crew’s social media channels. Steve spends his free time sailing off on adventures untold, thru-hiking various trails across the country.
Evan
Meet Evan, MegaDuel co-founder and analytical lead. Evan navigates project management for the team, ensuring our course is charted smoothly. When he’s not busy mapping out MegaDuel’s voyage, you can find him drawing up his next big business venture or jamming on his bass.
Alex
Meet Alex, MegaDuel’s copywriter-in-command. From penning the Captain’s Guide to putting the Black Market seal of approval on each and every Arsenal Card, Alex acts as the crew's scribe, helping to bring MegaDuel’s voice to life. When he’s not researching pirate lingo for the game, you can catch him rooting for his favorite Philly sports teams and working on his future best-selling novel.
Austin
Meet Austin, MegaDuel’s technical maestro. Austin ensures that all of the crew’s equipment stays online—keeping an eye on the MegaDuel website and setting us up for a successful launch. After a long day, you can find him catching up on new film releases and working on his screenwriting.
